Based on the 4000 litre chassis but with a 3600 litre tank to further reduce the centre of gravity, the Hillsider is the only high clearance self-propelled machine that can safely spray across a 1 in 3 sideslope.

To maintain stability it is often necessary to widen the wheel track, however in many circumstances a maximum track width of 72in may be all that is allowed. In this case the Hillsider comes into its own.

Simply by automatically tilting the tank to maintain the centre of gravity within the wheelbase of the vehicle, keeps the machine upright. An in-cab inclinometer informs the driver of the severity of the slope.

A smooth underbelly cleanace of 950mm coupled with Poclain's SMART Drive traction control system makes spraying in hilly conditions a safe and problem-free exercise on both rowcrop and flotation wheels.
