The Vision 4000 has been designed for those customers requiring greater outputs but without a significant increase in unladen weight. At just 250kgs heavier than the 3000, the 4000 has the power and capacity to outperform much larger machines with the same capacity but still being able to tread lightly when conditions become adverse.
Power is again from a Deutz 6 cylinder turbocharged diesel engine with outputs up to 208hp available. Poclain S18 wheel motors all round are used to give maximum tractive effort and performance in even the most arduous conditions.
As the 3000, the 4000 benefits from a 'load sensed' hydraulic system which allows all operations to be carried out at low engine revs, reducing fuel useage and enabling swifter control of booms when spraying. It also allows a fast fill pump to be used in conjunction with the spray pump to give quicker filling whilst still being able to draw clean water through the induction hopper. Boom folding and folding is smooth and quick and enables booms to be folded in unison even on sloping ground.
'Dual-ride' suspension is a further development of our hydro-pneumatic system which offers the user a firm or soft ride. The firm setting is primarily for on road use to give a controlled feel at speed and softer when spraying in rough field conditions.
